MEDITATIVE ECHOES

Frankie Boyle Studio | Artwork

Captured within the skeletal remains of an abandoned structure, this series transforms decay into a theatre of light and flow. A ribbon of colour weaves through darkness, trailing energy across concrete walls and casting chromatic echoes through long-forgotten corridors. This is light as presence - moving, breathing, alive.

Working with photographer Jolly Schwarz, we explored the dialogue between abandonment and beauty, stillness and movement. The coloured light was painted in real time, using slow shutter speeds to create dynamic trails that mirror the body's own rhythms , like breath, or thought, or memory. The result is a spectral choreography where architecture becomes canvas and night becomes medium.

Rooted in my ongoing practice exploring the emotional and psychological impact of light, Meditative Echoes invites viewers into a moment of suspended time, part ruin, part reverie.
