Convergence, is a light sculpture inspired by the Bristol Beacon, an iconic concert hall at the heart of Bristol’s cultural landscape. The piece captures the vibrant energy that pulses through the building, reflecting the sounds, light, and frequencies that have resonated within its historic walls over time.

The undulating form of Convergence symbolises the waves of music and emotion flowing through the Bristol Beacon, celebrating the profound connection between architecture, sound, and community. Created in close collaboration with local communities and focus groups, the design draws deeply from the collective creativity and spirit of Bristol’s residents. The sculpture’s shape and movement echo the musical compositions shared by these groups, transforming their voices and melodies into a tangible tribute to the concert hall’s enduring legacy.
